Our volunteers have the opportunity of using their life skills and experiences, finding fulfilment in making a difference. Can you help with:
Companionship for the isolated and vulnerable, especially those recently bereaved or convalescing.
Shopping assistance, either with the client or on their behalf.
Help with socialising, getting clients out and about, even if just for a visit to a cafe or garden centre.
Initial and ongoing training to build your confidence and skills.
The satisfaction of making a meaningful contribution to those in need and to the wellbeing of the community.

Please note: by applying to volunteer with KASC you are agreeing to undertake an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We will apply for one and there will be no expense to yourself. You will also be required to attend training covering the policies, processes and guidelines of the charity, including Data Protection and GDPR compliance.
